Polski Customs Clearance

Polski Customs Clearance

Hi, this is Auraman.

Every month, we import Korean cosmetics directly from Korea once or twice for Aura3am.

In the best case, the shipment arrives in about two weeks. More often, it takes around three weeks.

The most stressful part isn't the shipping.

It's Polish customs clearance.

Every shipment requires a mountain of documents—commercial invoices, packing lists, sanitary documents, product labels, and more. Sometimes it feels like the paperwork takes longer than the journey from Korea to Poland.

If we're unlucky, the shipment is selected for a random inspection.

That means more waiting, more emails, more phone calls, and, of course, more stress.

Then comes the cost.

First, there's 23% VAT.

On top of that, customs duty is usually around 9–12%, plus international shipping costs. To be honest, I'm still not completely sure how every customs charge is calculated. Every shipment seems a little different.

Today, I'm anxiously waiting for our latest Aura3am shipment.

This one contains the new Licorne PDRN skincare collection, and many customers have been asking when it will be back in stock.

Right now, it's still somewhere in the customs process.

There's not much I can do except wait and hope everything is cleared quickly.

Running a small business means that sometimes your biggest challenge isn't selling products—it's simply getting them into the country.

Hopefully, our Licorne shipment will arrive soon, and we'll be able to share it with everyone.
