Summer is coming. Wroclaw vs. Seoul

Summer is coming. Wroclaw vs. Seoul

It's getting hotter!

Last week, temp reached around 30degrees. But I can handle it. Because I am from seoul.

Summer in Seoul is hot, humid, and very social.

I lived in Seoul, and for me summer there is strongly connected with eating out and meeting people. You don’t really stay inside and wait for the heat to pass—you go out anyway.

One of the most iconic parts of summer is chimaek culture (치맥)—fried chicken and beer. Especially at night, it becomes a simple ritual: sitting with friends, ordering chicken, and drinking cold beer to survive the humidity.

Another strong memory is the Han River.  At Han River, people gather in the evenings with mats, food, delivery apps, and speakers. It’s very casual but very alive. Some people picnic, some drink, some just sit and watch the city reflect on the water.

I miss Korean Chcken........with beer... and friends....

Wrocław Summer

Summer in Wrocław is the opposite in rhythm.

It is slower, lighter, and more spaced out. People still go out, but in a calmer way—walking, sitting in parks, or spending time in cafés without rushing.

and I live quite far from renyk. So it's peaceful. Now I like non-populated area.
Too many people makes me uncomfortable.... I've been changed over years.

Seoul summer is heat + people + food + night life.
Wrocław summer is space + silence + slow time + daylight freedom.

In Seoul, I remember always going out to eat—even when it was hot. Especially chimaek by the Han River.

In Wrocław, summer feels more like staying present in the moment without needing anything extra.

Both are beautiful in different ways.

In the summer, I like Snowman serum. Boubanka!
