Everyday I go to Aura with Soju, my dog.

Soju is a 1-year-old female dog. My first dog ever.

When I work at AURA3AM, I can’t leave her alone at home for long hours. So I bring her with me to the store. She is part of my daily routine now.

Here is how a normal day looks with Soju.

I usually wake up around 07:30–08:00. Most of the time, she wakes me up first. That’s her way of starting the day.

We go out for a short walk so she can pee and move a little. Then we come back home and eat breakfast at the same time.

Around 09:00, we go for a longer walk together—about 30 minutes. It’s not really running. I walk, she leads. The important part is to make sure she gets tired before we go to Aura.

After that, we go to the store together.

In Aura, she usually sleeps. She is calm and doesn’t bark at customers. She actually likes people and enjoys being touched, so she often greets customers in her own way.

Because of Soju, I have more responsibility for everything—time, energy, and routine. I can’t be careless anymore. But I like that.

I love her. She makes my life busier, but also more complete.

Soju's favorite snack.
