Honestly, I had never heard of Maybena before.
It was not a famous brand with huge advertising.
Maybena started through crowdfunding, supported by customers who believed in its products before the brand became widely known.
That was exactly why we became interested.

730,000ppm—what does that actually mean?
Maybena has one very clear characteristic: it likes highly concentrated formulas.
Its PDRN 73 line contains 730,000ppm of vegan PDRN complex, which means that the complex accounts for 73% of the formula.
However, I know that a large number like 730,000ppm does not mean much without comparison.
For example:

Medicube PDRN Pink Peptide Serum contains 10,000ppm.

The INKEY List PDRN Serum contains 20,000ppm.

Maybena PDRN 73 contains 730,000ppm.
I know these numbers are not always a perfect apple-to-apple comparison.
Brands may use different sources, concentrations and definitions of a “PDRN complex.” Maybena’s 730,000ppm refers to its vegan PDRN complex, not necessarily 73% isolated pure PDRN.
Still, even after considering that difference, 730,000ppm is an unusually high figure for a PDRN cosmetic.
Even our safety assessor was surprised

Our cosmetic safety assessor reviews formulas and technical documents professionally every day. It is not easy to surprise someone like that.
But while reviewing Maybena, even the assessor commented on the unusually high ingredient concentration.
There are many cosmetics with impressive marketing words. It is much less common to find a product that makes a professional stop while reading its technical documentation.
But the formulas have character.
And honestly, this is exactly the kind of hidden Korean brand Aura3AM wants to find.

What worked best for my skin
I am a man in my mid-40s, and my skin tells the truth very quickly when I do not sleep enough.
Among the Maybena products I tested, the PDRN Cream and the Serum worked best for me.
The cream feels slightly thick and firm. It is not the kind of silky cream that disappears immediately after application. Some people may find the texture a little heavy at first.
But I I like about it.
That is more important to me than a beautiful texture that feels amazing for five seconds.
